Yup, it's been long since I lasted posted in the kopicat blog. Dropped my 1st blog earlier here asking everyone to view my subsequent blogs but apparently I guess I have not been doing a good job on this heh heh.

Anyway, last Fri, I had dinner with my uni course mates (Lijuan, Lena, Jiapei) at Botak Jones, Clementi. Enjoyed myself tremendously that day, decided to pen down so that I can have fun recalling the funny things that happened to us on that day. 

Oh yes, in conjunction the newly created expose gallery (credits to Brown Cat for the good job!), I have decided to post some nice photos over there. Do take a look ok??

It seems like along time since I last posted.

I must say that work has been rather hectic lately and during my free times, I have been trying to do up my wedding wedsite with my fiancee (better known as the pink cat). The wedsite will not replace the website here, the website here is a personal website for just everything and anything and whatever; the other wedding website serves as a blog styled webby where my fiancee and I can update everyone latest news on our wedding, exchange ideas on weddings, be it gown or Ang Pau box ideas - so in a nutshell, it is about weddings and relationships and everything about us as a couple.

Similarly, it is based on Joomla CMS (content management system) but rather differently, it took up a blog style template. Some modules which were not used here, were done up over there. 

One of the modules is the Expose Gallery on the gallery page . It is a flash photo and video gallery but which looks so nice in my opinion. This module comes with an administrative page for uploading of photo and adding descriptions to them... which is simple and perfect! The only issue with this module is that I can't seem to change its background color / image successfully, though the author mentioned that the current version should be able to allow that. Do give me your feedback on whether it looks nice or not, cos I am planning to put it here as well .

And yar, please give me your comments on the shoutbox too!

I found the Korean movie "200 Pounds Beauty" quite cute...

There are a few translation for this show, some countries they don't call it "200 Pounds Beauty " or "200磅美女"..

They called it "Beautiful Girl" and "美女的烦恼"; which I guess it really sound much nicer.

Quite like the theme song "Maria" - very dynamic and nice, very 嚷嚷上口.

A search on this song reveals that it is sang by Korean Singer "Kim Ah Joong " who is also the leading actress of the movie:

In case anyone gets bored reading the blogs written by *the brown cat*. time to try reading mine!

I bought a shredder at IMM Giant on SUnday for about $40 odd dollars... this is something that I always wanted, so that I can dispose of all my piled up letters & documents but which could contain sensitive information like my signature, credit card numbers or bank account updates.

While I was clearing all the old letters, I found something really interesting...

Of all awards, I like the "Most Adorable" award - Kiwi!.. You know what, this video is so cute and adorable but is sooo sad.... watch it with audio and I think you will feel the same too.... :(

I almost missed a friend's wedding. Mei Zhen is my secondary school friend and it has been a long time since I last see of her. She emailed me and asked for my availability for her wedding, somehow I did not read that email. That email came like January and I only read it today.   And her wedding is this coming Sat! That's 4 days from today!

There was a NTU Open House last Saturday.

It was held at the Nanyang Auditorium. Meowmeow and I were in NTU on the day, and we decided to check out the open house. In Nanyang Auditorium, there was a showcase of the various projects by the engineering schools and URECA. At the open space outside the audit, at the quad, it's ECA booths and goodie bag collection counter ... and that's where I got my goodie bag . A picture of som eof the contents you can see below. Inside the School of Biological Science it is booths promoting the various schools and admin booths - scholarships and study loans...

I am currently reading up on a printed pdf format of "The Official Joomla Template Tutorial" downloaded from compassdesign.
