A genetically-modified (GM) strain of malaria-resistant mosquito has been created that is better able to survive than disease-carrying insects.

I wonder what will happen if they really do that, are scientist trying to play god and replace all insects / animals with a strian they thought is better? What if the strain that was replaced somehow mutated and went out of hand? I really wonder...
