I bought a shredder at IMM Giant on SUnday for about $40 odd dollars... this is something that I always wanted, so that I can dispose of all my piled up letters & documents but which could contain sensitive information like my signature, credit card numbers or bank account updates.

While I was clearing all the old letters, I found something really interesting...

It is a cheque with my name as the receiver and Singtel as the sender.  A closer look at it reveals that it was my last wage from Singtel where I did my IA (industrial attachment). Gosh! How could I forget to cash in these whole lot of money! The cheque was dated June 2005 (cool! 2 years ago) and I had penned down my account number and name at the back... but I did not cash in. How muddle headed can I get? OK, call me stupid if you want to...

Anyways, my mum helped me ask the bank who said that cheques are effective for 6 months, so the end result is I got to get Singtel to send me my salary again... God knows whether they would help me on this issue... somemore CEO has changed too... damn!
